April 12, 2021 -
- Around 4:30 a.m. - Sergeant Holloway (Rob) was shot and airlifted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia
- Around 5:00 a.m. - Lieutenant Brad Easterwood and Lieutenant Greg Falls inform Stephanie and Grady of the incident and transport to Grady Hospital
- Around 5:30 a.m. - Deputy Jamison Trout and Deputy Jay Repetto find and kill the shooter, Pierre Shelton (watch dashcam video)
- Around 6:30 a.m. - Stephanie allowed to see Rob before he went into emergency surgery to clean wound and perform craniectomy
- Around 7:00 p.m. - Stephanie, Grady, and Mimi allowed to talk to Rob for five-minutes in ICU

April 13, 2021 -
- Rob and Stephanie's 19th Wedding Anniversary
- Aundi Lesley and the spouses of West Georgia law enforcement officers created GoFundMe account for Rob
- 12 noon - Visiting hours open at Grady Hospital and Stephanie allowed to visit with Rob
- 7:00 p.m. - Stephanie returns to hotel and creates Caring Bridge site for Rob
April 15, 2021 -
- Grady's Honors Night ceremony at Carrollton High School - law enforcement officers from all local agencies were present to show support for Grady and represent Rob in his absence

- Rob was moved from ICU to room 261 on the
  2nd floor at Shepherd for patients with Acquired Brain Injuries. This is the first day he was allowed to be lifted from the bed into a chair to sit up.
