About Sergeant Holloway
Robert Earl Holloway, Jr. was born to Robert and Susan Holloway in Carrollton, Georgia. He was raised in Bowdon, Georgia and attended the Carrollton City School System. It was there that he met his wife, Stephanie. They have one son named Grady. Rob worked for several companies before deciding he wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement. In 2006, he applied for both the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and the Carrollton Police Department. He was hired by the Carroll County Sheriff's Office to work in the jail and quickly moved from being a jailer to a booking officer. While working in the booking area of CCSO in 2007, he met Carrollton Police Department officer, Joe Gramling. Joe learned he wanted to be a police officer, and shortly thereafter, Rob was hired by the Carrollton Police Department. Throughout his career at CPD, he served as a patrol officer, traffic officer on the DUI task force, Motor Officer, Special Response Team Member, Sniper, Field Training Officer, General Instructor, Fire Arms Instructor, Patrol Corporal, and Patrol Sergeant. He currently holds the following certifications:
